Dantz Academy x We Make Noise · Ableton Production Lab

Dantz Academy, We Make Noise and Ableton join forces to bring professional music production tools to people who want to take their first steps into sound creation.

As part of the parallel activities of the 10th edition of Dantz Festival, we present Ableton Production Lab, a free intensive music production workshop promoted by Dantz Academy together with We Make Noise, with the support of Ableton.

The activity is aimed at women and gender-diverse people interested in getting started with music production using Ableton Live and exploring sound as a creative tool. No previous experience is required.

According to the study Inclusion in the Recording Studio? by the USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, women and gender-diverse people remain particularly underrepresented in the field of music production.

Ableton Production Lab was created in this context with the aim of facilitating access to professional tools, creating new learning opportunities and contributing to a more diverse music scene. The workshop is open to people interested in music, production, sound design, DJing, audiovisual work, performing arts, performance and other creative disciplines related to sound.
