Asier Arias, aka Bassywax, is a DJ and producer based in Donostia, passionate about vinyl and raw techno sounds. He is a co-founder and resident of Enigma.dss collective, which promotes techno scene in Donostia and its surroundings, with respect and club culture values. As a DJ, Bassywax’s style ranges from slow to fast rhythms, creating hypnotic and psychedelic experiences, and sometimes playing tribal and dance-focused styles. As a producer, he uses mainly analog synths and drum machines to maintain traditional production methods, and is working to refine his sound and develop his own label.
