Jailed Jamie aka Skygaze

Jailed Jamie (aka Skygaze) is the musical project of Jaime Tellado, architect by profession and music lover from an early age.  In 2013 he begins his career under the alias Skygaze having performed at festivals like Sonar(2015), LEV(2015, 2017 and 2019) or MIRA(2014 and 2017) and for streaming platforms like Boiler Room or Captcha.  In 2014 he was the winner of the call  for a residency in Laboral city of culture. In 2015 he participated in the Red Bull Music Academy BassCamp held in Madrid.  In 2017 he was winner of the Villa de Bilbao award in the category of “electronic and new trends”. In september 2018 saw the light of day his third  lp named “Freedom”, where he shows himself more jazzy than ever. In 2020 he self-releases his fourth album, called “Bloom”, selected by Andrew Jervis (CEO of bandcamp weekly, Ubiquity records) as “Album of the week” on the Bandcamp platform.   In 2019 he releases his project Jailed Jamie, focused directly on the dancefloor, a cocktail of jungle, breakbeat, Uk bass, acid, techno and other genres that did not fit in his editorial discourse as Skygaze. Under the name Jailed Jamie has released on labels like Breaking Bass and has performed at festivals like Brave Factory (Kiev), Ithaka or Lev festival, as well as emblematic dance halls like Siroco, Lanna or Moog.   His music has been used in commercial projects for brands such as Springfield, Skullcandy, Kappa, El Corte Inglés, fabricc, sonar+d, etc…
