Neska is a dj and producer originally from the Basque Country. Musician by profession, with a background in classical classical piano and jazz, and a recent past in punk bands in England, Neska aka Inés de Juana started DJing in the spring of 2021, becoming in just one year one of the names of reference in the emerging electronic scene in Barcelona.
Resident at the clubs Nitsa (Apolo) and Human (Razzmatazz), Neska has also played on the dancefloors of the national festivals Primavera Sound, Sónar, Brunch, Hivernacle or Soundit, events curated by labels such as Possession or Innervisions, as well as venues all over the peninsula, sharing the booth with international artists such as Jeff Mills, Jeff Mills, Oscar Mulero, Roza Terenzi, DJ Stingray, Leon Vynehall,
DjRUM, Gene On Earth, Charlotte de Witte, FJAAK, DJ Koze, DJ Seinfeld, Josey Rebelle or VTSS, among others. Curator of fauna & flora, a multidisciplinary electronic music and art event currently taking place at Lolita (Razzmatazz) and host of Neskafe, his monthly radio show on dublab, Neska is characterized by her versatility in and out of the booth.
Her sets are marked by a strong influence of 90s House, Techno and UK Breaks, acid melodies, dreamy harmonies, energetic beats and fresh rhythms that mutate in style and time. A very personal selection, elegance in the mix, and above all, passion for music.
