Lena Willikens is a German DJ and artist who prioritizes the overall experience of music over playing hits. Willikens’ talent for curating and her innovative approach led to her putting together the fifth installment of Dekmantel’s Selectors compilation series. She has also made a name for herself as a remixer, working with various artists across genres. Willikens’ residency at Düsseldorf’s Salon des Amateurs helped her hone her unique approach. Her work on Radio Cómeme and NTS further developed her talent. She collaborates with artist Sarah Szczesny in Phantom Kino Ballett, combining immersive audio-visual experiences with performance art.
