Oriol Riverola, better known as John Talabot, is a renowned Catalan DJ from Barcelona, record label owner, producer, and electronic musician. He is currently a major figure in electronic music and the “house” genre, having been active in the music industry since 2009.
In his early days as a DJ in Barcelona’s electronic scene, he began to make a name for himself under the name D.A.R.Y.L. as a resident DJ at Razzmatazz Club’s Lo-li-ta room.
The Barcelona DJ rose to fame with the success of his single “Sunshine” in 2010, released through the record label Hivern Discs. However, his career was solidified with his debut album, Fin, produced by the record label Permanent Vacation.
In recent years, John Talabot has become one of the main figures and great revelations in the country’s electronic music scene thanks to his productions and DJ tours, in which he has performed at the world’s main festivals and clubs.
