Jamie Roberts, also known as Blawan, is a UK techno musician who has spent the last decade developing his career. He started playing drums in his youth and has demonstrated a natural ability for rhythm in his discography as Blawan, as well as in his other aliases and collaborations with other artists. He has released music in a wide range of styles, from dark minimalism to grooving techno, and has worked with labels such as Hessle Audio, R&S, Clone, Hinge Finger, and Black Sun, as well as his own label, TERNESC. He moved to Berlin in 2015 and his analog production and live performances have taken his career in new and exciting directions. His latest album, “Wet Will Always Dry,” is an example of his constant exploration in techno music.
