Javi Pez, also known as P3z or Elektropez, is the alias of Javier Vicente Calderón, a musician, producer, DJ, and cultural programmer from San Sebastián. Active since the 1980s, he has been part of projects such as Parafünk, Sirope, and Digi Onze, and has developed a career marked by experimentation, eclecticism, and the fusion of electronic and folk music. In 1995, he founded the Novophonic label with Txarly Brown, building a unique catalog that achieved significant international recognition. As a DJ, he combines jazz, soul, funk, and Latin rhythms with organic electronica, performing in renowned clubs and festivals such as Sónar and BAM, and in cities throughout Europe. He has also produced remixes for international artists and projects, establishing himself as a key figure in the evolution of the independent and electronic music scene.
