Anthony Rother is widely regarded as an influential visionary, an electro pioneer and one of electronic music’s most prolific producers. For over two decades, he has built a vast sonic universe, exploring territories beyond electro, techno and pop. Beginning his career in the late ’80s, he established himself in the German scene with releases such as Sex With The Machines and Simulationszeitalter. In 1998, he founded his label Psi49Net, maintaining full artistic independence while shaping a distinct vision driven by futuristic narratives and reflections on technological change. His signature use of vocoder vocals, dark synth textures and machine-like rhythms has made him a defining figure in contemporary electro.
