Irune Muguruza was born in 1997 in Irun, in a home where music was part of everyday life.
She moved to Barcelona to study music production for five years, where she began her professional journey as a concert producer. After completing her degree in production, she worked with Primavera Sound up until the present. That experience led her, together with Iñigo Jiménez, to create N97.
N97 is a cultural expression of electronic music from the Bidasoa region, created by young people from a borderland who dream of a world without borders.
As the Beastie Boys sang in "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)," since 2023 they have been fighting to defend the party as an expression of a community that celebrates life.
Irune began her career as a DJ in 2023, quickly gaining recognition for her ability to keep audiences dancing non-stop to the rhythm of house, tech house, and minimal.
